Revival By Design Course 1A

The Vision – This lesson introduces the student to Revival by Design (RBD) and provides the background of how and why RBD was created.  It explains the Biblical principles on which RBD is established, such as the important balance of Spirit and Truth.  The lesson also provides the Biblical organizational structure for revival on which RBD is based.  Finally, it addresses how RBD may be applied in a local assembly or in starting a brand new work. Introduction to Evangelism – Here we will introduce the RBD outreach approach involving educating those who will be evangelizing, as well as strategically incorporating prayer, fasting and prayer walks in the area to be evangelized. We will also expound on specific evangelistic methods including one-on-one methods or group methods.

Brokenness – The true meaning of brokenness is explained and the benefits and necessity of brokenness in order for a person to be used by God to his/her greatest potential. Many Biblical examples of brokenness are integrated and expounded upon.

Tabernacle Prayer – This lesson teaches how to pray through the Tabernacle Plan. The Tabernacle Plan formed an order of worship for the Israelites and here we show how that same order can be applied scripturally to a person’s daily prayer time. Each article of Tabernacle furniture had a specific purpose in worship that correlates with a specific prayer focus to be applied in daily prayer.

Tactics of Prayer and Fasting – Expounding on the various kinds of Biblical fasts, this includes the scriptural foundation for each type of fast and explains the various purposes of Biblical fasting. This instruction also teaches the importance and benefits of early-morning prayer and provides a scriptural basis for it.

Principles of Right Hand and Left Hand – This lessons studies the Church as a Body and the proper understanding of each individual part, or member of the Body, and its function. These Biblical principles of the Right and Left Hand give clarity on how we work together for the sake of unity and progress.

Finding the Harvest – Finding the Harvest establishes a firm scriptural foundation showing God’s promise of a latter day harvest of souls greater than there has ever been. It also expounds on God’s promises to act on behalf of those who reach out to others by faith. Finally, it provides a step-by-step approach on how to become a Wise Fisherman.

Spiritual Warfare – In order to build God’s Kingdom, we must first understand the battle we are involved in. This lesson takes an in-depth Scriptural look at spiritual structure, and the tactics of spiritual warfare, so that we will see souls come into the Kingdom.

Intercessory Prayer – Defining intercessory prayer, explaining why it is so important, and examining key attributes of intercessors in the Bible are all key components of this class.

Dynamic Prayer Walks – Discovering how prayer walking can tear down strongholds and pave the way for a harvest of souls is the focus in this lesson. It gives Biblical accounts of prayer walking, describes how to prepare your group for the event, and gives examples on how and what to pray during a prayer walk.

Methods of Evangelism – This lesson discusses that the fact that all Christians are called to evangelize and that evangelism is not to simply be an event, but rather a lifestyle. Various approaches to evangelism are discussed and expounded upon.

Tactics of Evangelism – Describes ways that the Church, as the Body of Christ, can reach out to the lost on a daily basis. It also shares many successful outreach methods and discusses how a person should pray for the lost souls that he is trying to reach.

How to Reach Ten People with a Team of Two – Introduces a reliable, easy to apply, step-by-step method for reaching lost souls. It also addresses the importance of working together as a unified team and discusses how to successfully deal with conflict when it occurs within the team.

How to Teach a Bible Study – Here, instruction is given on how to prepare for a Bible study. This lesson also addresses the importance of remaining faithful to the Word of God when teaching.

Kings and Priests – This lesson gives an understanding of the balanced structure that God gave to Moses and its importance in understanding the activation and operation of the Gifts of the Spirit.

The Glory of The Lord – Discusses the three sacrifices one must make for the Glory of God to be revealed. It also emphasizes that these are not just initial sacrifices necessary to become a part of God’s Kingdom; rather, they are elements of a sacrificial state in which Christians should continually live if they desire to continually see God’s glory in their lives.

How to Pray with Someone to Receive the Holy Ghost – Addresses the importance of a person being in right standing with God before praying for another person. It also discusses being sensitive to God’s leading, praying with correct motives and in an appropriate manner.

How to Pray, Ministering to People Using the Gifts Of The Spirit – This lesson gives detailed instructions on how to pray with someone to receive the Holy Spirit. It shows how to prepare the seeker and the barriers to be aware of that would hinder them from receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost.

The Four Steps to Prepare Someone to Be Healed – Introduces the student to the four basic steps of preparing people, by invoking faith, so that healing and miracles may occur. This is based on the Biblical principle that God delights in healing and working miracles.

Rhema: The Spoken Word – Explains the meaning of Rhema and how it is to be used as the key weapon of spiritual warfare and the key instrument in seeing miracles come to pass.

Working with a Team for Holy Ghost Rallies: Applications of Altar Work – This lesson looks at the application of altar services by showing what an altar team should look like and how they can effectively work together in different scenarios. It stresses the importance of building faith and what to do when you are working without an altar team. 

Why Signs and Wonders? – By looking at Biblical examples of the manifestation of God’s power, this lesson explains the purpose of Signs and Wonders and how it opens the door for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be preached and received. 

Steps 1-4 – This lesson discusses four steps as a process of church growth and multiplication, based on Biblical principles. It gives an overview of each phase, while also explaining the goal and expected timeline for each step. 

Divide and Conquer – Focuses on applying the four steps to a specific city or area. It discusses dividing the city or area into its governmental boundaries in order to begin conquering the city. 

Church Structure – The importance of having a proper structure within a church, in order to grow and be successful, is the discussion of this lesson. It looks at basic structure implemented in the Old Testament, in heaven, and even in military and business. It then shows how this structure can be applied to the Church today. 

Roles of the Ministry and Offices – This lesson explains the structure of the Body by defining each member and their purpose. 

Application in Your City and District – Takes Steps 1-4 and explains how the strategy can be applied to an already established assembly or to a brand new territory where there is no assembly. 

Working Under Authority – Discusses the importance of working under God-given leadership. It gives examples from the Bible and also expounds on how one obtains Spiritual authority. 

Honoring Leadership – Addresses the importance of supporting and honoring leadership. It also explains the consequences of rebelling against authority. Finally, it gives Bible-based practical applications of how ministers and leaders should be honored and supported.

Revival By Design Course 1B 

Introduction to Holiness – Discusses the importance of holiness in the life of a believer. It explains that holiness is not a set of rules but should be an attitude that is motivated by a love for God. It discusses how the Holy Ghost will lead the believer to be holy. The lesson also addresses holiness within leadership. 

Holiness is Our Lifestyle – The importance of both inward and outward holiness is discussed in Holiness is Our Lifestyle. It explains that holiness is not a standard but should be a lifestyle guided by principles of the Word of God. It also emphasizes the duty of the Church to teach and model holiness. 

Practical Holiness in this Generation – Addresses specific areas of holiness regarding the way a woman should dress and adorn herself. Specific topics include Women’s Hair and Women’s Attire. 

Things that Influence Character – Discusses spiritual GIGO (Garbage In = Garbage Out). It explains that what is allowed into the mind will also affect the heart and influence character. What is planted into the mind as a thought will grow and produce fruit; becoming words and actions. It also further explains that what a person sees, what they hear, and the company they keep, will affect their character. 

Ethics: Living Above Reproach – Emphasizes the importance of ethical behavior in ministry and the Church. It discusses that Christian ethics are based on the unchanging Word of God while situational ethics are becoming prominent in the secular world. It further warns of the damage that situational ethics can create in the Church. Finally, it sums up the process of sanctification and surrendering to God and His will. 

The Prophecies – Discusses the prophecies in the Old Testament, beginning in Genesis, which speak of the coming Messiah. It further shows that Jesus is the Messiah and relates how Jesus is described in these prophecies. A list of supporting scripture is also included.

The Shema – Describes the Shema as the foundational scripture of the Old Testament and discusses how important it was, and is, to the Jewish faith. It also discusses many other Scriptures which show God as the Almighty, the Savior, Creator of All Things, All Power, the I AM, and the first and the last. All of the scriptures proclaim, with NO contradiction, that there is only one God and Savior. 

God in Christ – Specifically focuses on Jesus Christ as God, and not a third person in the Godhead. Several scriptures are given to further explain the revelation that God Himself came in the flesh and dwelt among men.

The One True God – The God of the Old Testament has the same titles as Jesus Christ in the New Testament and it is well explained in this lesson. It is also emphasized that scripture DOES NOT teach the concept of three gods or of three separate persons in a triune godhead.

The Humanity of Christ – Discusses that while Jesus was fully God, He was also fully man. It focuses on Jesus’ humanity – He was born of a woman and had the same physical needs as all humans, yet He was without sin.

What is the Church? – The fact that the Church is God’s and not a structure or organization built by man is explained here. Instead, the Church consists of those that are born again of water and of the Spirit. Also emphasizes that the Church should only be built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ being the Chief Cornerstone.

The Main Assembly – Explains that believers are all members of the Body of Christ – the Church. It emphasizes the need for an individual to constantly be joined to the Body of Christ and not to separate himself from the assembly.

The House Church and its Functions – Emphasizes the necessity of the house church (house fellowship) with prayer being the primary focus. It explains house church structure and the details involved in hosting a house church.

Presentation Skills – This lesson deals with some of the basics of speaking in public to a group of people. The emphasis is for those who will be teaching and ministering for the first time in the House Church setting.

Prophetically: The Olivet Discourse – Discusses the prophecy given by Jesus to His disciples on the Mount of Olives. It focuses on the coming of the Lord and the signs that will occur before His return.

Prophetically: Book of Revelation – Gives some rules of interpretation to keep in mind when studying the Book of Revelation. It also shows that the Book of Revelation can be organized into three basic parts: 1) the things which thou hast seen, 2) the things which are, and 3) the things which shall be hereafter. The lesson further delves into various symbolism and meanings within the book.

Living within God’s Blessings – The proper order in the home, and the importance for the Law of God to be respected and followed by the entire family is discussed here. It also emphasizes the need for specific roles within the home.

How to Bring Up Your Children on a Godly Foundation – Emphasizes the need for parents to teach their children how to live a holy life through example and application.

Marriage: An Overview of the Five Love Languages – Discusses and explains the five love languages and emphasizes that every person interprets love in different ways.

Building an Altar unto the Lord – The need for a personal altar of prayer, and a family altar of prayer is emphasized in this lesson. It explains how an altar is built unto the Lord, the necessary components of an altar, and the reasons for having a family altar.
